Best Steakhouses in South Carolina

Anita was our server and she was excellent! She gave great insight into the menu, her suggestions were spot on and she was very kind. We went Valentine’s weekend and all the ladies received a rose upon entering the restaurant. So sweet and truly set the ambiance. The food was well seasoned and served in a timely manner. Portion sizes are average even for the shared dishes but definitely fed us fine. There were no leftovers. Great date night! We will return and refer others!

The whole experience was amazing! Our waitress was personable and attentive. The food was amazing!!!! Started with the French onion soup and the shrimp/calamari appetizer. Wow! Had the WG salad with steak, my husband had the prime Rib. They did not disappoint. We ended with the crème brulle flight. What a way to top off an excellent evening!

10 out of 10!! Started with perfectly crafted cocktails and the most cozy ambiance. The wedge salad was by far the best version we’ve ever had. Ordered the Tomahawk steak, cooked perfectly as requested, literally melted in your mouth. We’ve been to top steakhouses in NY city and Bowdie’s was right at the top with them! Coffee and dessert were also delicious and spot on. The service was impeccable, we are counting the days until we return!! Thank you Bowdie’s!!

I have been going to Crain's for many years. It's one of our favorites on the island. It's perfect when celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. Get your reservation in early because the smaller place can fill up quickly. I like the steaks and my wife likes the shrimp & grits. She proclaims it's the best in the country.

So amazing! Can't wait to go back! Service was amazing! Our waiter (Abe) and our Gaucho were friendly, attentive and personable. Not to mention the lady who seated us was attentive to our comfort and needs. Food was all phenomenal! The "salad bar" on steroids had fresh amazing selections. The artichoke salad and chicken salad was to die for! I had to stop myself from eating to much so I had room for the amazing selections of meat that was brought out nonstop until we said "no more"! I did manage to fit in dessert after seeing the selection. The limoncello/raspberry cake was delicious!
