Best Steakhouses in Bon Air

Gracie was our server and she was amazing. My son, mother, and I went for a nice meal since my son had finished his first semester at UVA. We had the Friday porkchop special and my mom had the senior filet meal, We started with the BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer which my son said was the best shrimp dish he’d ever had. My son had the French onion soup and my mom and I shared a wedge. Everything was very flavorful. We had eaten at Perry’s a couple times previously and you can’t get a better porkchop. It’s got a caramelized “crust of deliciousness on the outside and even the lunch portion is huge. My mother loved her filet. Even the mashed potatoes were fluffy and creamy. For dessert, my son got the crunch tower and my mom and I split the D’Angelo table side flamed dessert. We really had an incredible meal. Gracie was lovely and was very patient with special requests. Always a great experience at Fleming’s. Very professional staff that provide excellent service. Our food was so delicious.

Ambience was nice. Service was excellent. The food was okay and the waitress was awesome!

I had the lamb chops with mint and it was absolutely succulent. Very flavorful, it was served sizzling with butter. I am lactose intolerant but I always keep my "Lactaid" tablets with me so I can eat a little butter and no problems! I also had the house salad and it was absolutely delicious with their balsamic dressing. We got the grilled shrimp and they are a good size and very tasty.

Truly a dining experience, not just a meal. We were seated upstairs in the bar area, our server was very attentive from the time we arrived, around both bar and food service. Knowledgeable about the menu, particularly around pairings (protein with sauce/compound butter, à la carte sides, and wines). Classic with a twist steakhouse menu in a beautiful historic building. Definitely on the favorites list. ❤️
