Best Steakhouses in West End

We had an absolutely unforgettable dinner at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse on Christmas Eve! From the moment we walked in, the elegant ambiance set the perfect festive tone for the evening. The service was impeccable — our server was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations throughout the meal. For our main course, we all chose the filet mignon, and it was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Alongside, we enjoyed the lobster mac & cheese, which was rich and creamy with generous chunks of lobster, and the roasted broccolini, which had just the right amount of char and flavor. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the Warm Butter Cake, which was decadent and comforting, and the Lemon Doberge Cake, a light, refreshing finish to the meal. Every course was outstanding, and the entire experience — from the exquisite food to the flawless service and festive atmosphere — made for the perfect Christmas Eve celebration. Highly recommend!

Waiter (Jack) was prompt and efficient. However, our desire was to have a leisurely Christmas Eve dinner, but Jack explained that Chef wanted orders filled before finishing our starter and our cocktails. And sure enough along came our entrees! It was all about turning tables for the establishment ! Will never reserve at Nick & Sam’s on Holidays!!

A Christmas tradition for me and my family! Very e joyable experience. Typically I get the famous pork chop however the Prime Rib caught my eye. The prime rib was well cooked (med rare). I will say I was expecting some Smoked flavor however the prime rib had an extreme smoked taste which was overpowering. I ate around most of the char, but in my opinion and those of a couple of us, you should cut back on the smoke preparation for the prime rib. Looking from the outside you wouldn’t even know it was a restaurant until you get into the elevator very unique walked into a very upscale movie like restaurant, we were impressed. We ordered the calamari and shrimp, halibut catch of the day and short rib, the food was excellent, our server Julio was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Thank you for your hospitality and helping us celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary . I recommend this place the service is outstanding. Love it!

We had a nice quiet evening for our Anniversary celebration. The restaurant also had an entire halal menu which is great for Muslims! The food was amazing, we had the fried calamari & shrimp appetizer, the stuffed fried chicken, the 8oz filet Oscar style, and creamed corn. Everything was 10/10! The restaurant has a cozy, romantic atmosphere definitely recommend it for date night vibes!!
