- TTravisvipLos Angeles •11 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThe $350 omakase for 2 was yummy but not really a 10-course omakase. We needed to order several more courses to round it out, and then they delivered a kobe beef roll course that they’d forgotten to give us during the omakase! There is no list of what the Omakasa included, so we didn’t know that was coming until they delivered it. The dessert course was fantastic. We each had one cocktail and one small bottle of sake, plus Omakase and the extra stuff and tip it all came out to $600. Pretty pricey for two people, but the food is yummy and well presented, the setting is gorgeous and vibrant. Service was OK. - OTOpenTable DinerSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoFood was okay. A number of our dishes were quite bland and the fried rice was oily and not very good. Service was lackluster — our waiter never even bothered to refill our water. Location is great but overall experience was okay.More infoBlue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill - At The GrovePrice: Expensive• Sushi• Beverly / Fairfax / La Brea / Third St.•4.8
- SSaraLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoUpon entering, we were directed to take the elevator to the Penthouse to be seated for dinner. The restaurant is very impressive & formal. Absolutely beautiful! We were seated at a nice cozy table by the piano bar. The entertainment was fantastic! Beautiful young lady with a voice like Ariana Grande sang & played piano. Her repertoire consisted of popular songs & some songs from current musicals. She's very talented!! Worth going there just for her performance! I had their house Berry cocktail & it was really tasty & sweet, came in a shaker & was literally 4 drinks in a martini glass for the price of one! Well worth the price. Lots of great choices on the menu. The food & service was impeccable. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommend!!More infoThe Penthouse at Mastro's, Beverly HillsPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Beverly Hills•4.8
- SStacieLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Nov 2024We've been going to Shu for more than a decade and they never disappoint. Lots of long time employees here and they make it a point to deliver an exceptional dining experience each and every time. We hadn't been to Shu in awhile but Leo, the head chef, didn't miss a beat in remembering what we like. We typically only eat sashimi and we trust whatever Leo decides to serve us. One of our absolute favorites is bluefin tuna with ponzu-wasabi. Some of our other favorite dishes are yellowtail with truffle, red snapper with avocado, and needle fish (not on the menu)! We often compare our sushi experiences to Shu and hands down Shu always comes out on top not just in the quality of the sushi but the overall dining experience delivered by the friendly and knowledgeable staff.More infoSHU - Sushi House Unico - Bel AirPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Bel-Air•4.8
- MMatthewLos Angeles •36 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Nov 2024For decades, Sasabune has delivered some of the highest quality in traditional sushi. Through moves, expansions, and closures, the food is as delicious as ever. They are hard to beat for freshness and technique. And although very traditional, that does not mean boring - there is very deft use of flavor, but it is subtle, and the fish is the star of the show. Highlights: they offer both fresh and seawater eel, as well as both Santa Barbara and Hokkaido uni.More infoSasabune Beverly hillsPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Beverly Hills•4.8
