Best Sushi Restaurants in Druid Hills

The Halibut and Red Snapper were outstanding, and Katelyn was an amazing server who was very knowledgeable about the menu. It was very disappointing that we had 8:45 reservations, but we were not seated until 9:15. This was Valentines weekend, but I feel that a restaurant of this caliber should have been better prepared for the holiday crowd.

Nobu was an amazing experience, from the ambience to the music to food… Nobu was beautifully decorated only matched by its delicious food… I don’t drink but, mock-tail LYRE LIAR was absolutely tasty I believe I had about 3 glasses… something about the coconut milk and the pineapple juice 👩🏽‍🍳💋…..ohhhhh And the Wagyu Tacos 🤤 tiny delicious, buttery, juice , tender…. Coming back just for these alone. The Parmesan rice with truffle butter 🤯🤩🥳 was a flavor party in my mouth… it’s rich creamy, comes to the table sizzling and bits of mushrooms throughout. Never knew I needed something so 😋 tasty.

Service is always exceptional! Food tasted great as usual. Only issue we had was one of the plates ordered was steak and lobster but only lobster was served. Chef said it was noted as only lobster. All in all there was so much food we all got more than enough. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought a special dessert with waiters singing. Overall we had a great time as always!

The hot dishes were equally impressive, with standout items like the miso-glazed black cod and tempura that was light and crisp. Pricing is on par with similar high-end sushi spots, making it a great value given the quality of food and overall experience. Umi proves that you don’t have to compromise when it comes to great sushi, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance. Highly recommended!
