Muro was born out of a deep love for Spanish cuisine and a passion for sharing the vibrant culture of Spain with the people of London. Founded in 2024, our journey began with a simple idea: to recreate the lively and communal dining experience of traditional Spanish tapas bars, right here in the heart of the city.Inspired by the sights, sounds, and flavours of Spain’s bustling food markets and intimate taverns, Muro is more than just a restaurant – it’s a celebration of togetherness. Tapas, with its small plates and rich variety, encourages sharing and conversation, bringing people closer with every dish. We wanted to take that same spirit and create a space where locals and visitors alike could come together, share a meal, and enjoy an unforgettable culinary journey.

This is our new fave place in London! We were here visiting from Los Angeles and happen to come across this restaurant on this site and fell absolutely in love. The vibe/ambience is charming and adorable. It’s very quaint and cozy, filled with the most charismatic and magical decor and they made it even more sweet with all the festive decor for the holidays. The food is truly outstanding, whether you’re vegan or a carnivore, there’s something for us all. The croquetas were my fave but honestly you can’t go wrong with any of the items. Everything was so flavorful and top notch. The service was stellar and everyone felt like family. We loved it so much we went back two nights in a row! Everyone was amazing with our dog also which is our favorite thing as she travels with us everywhere and is our heart and soul. Thank you Frame for being our new place we think about often and long to come back to as a new home away from home! 🌟🥟🍷🥰✨💫🪄

We love the Ember Yard and having going for a couple of years, when ever we are in London. Probably 6-8 times. The food is exceptionally good as always. Wonderful delicious small plates and the wines are always good wines. The problem with EY is the service. The first few times we went there was a laid back, genuinely friendly service where staff talked a joked with you. Now everyone is different from the chef and cooks to waiters and everyone. The floor staff are clinical and in a huge rush to take away your plate whether you have finished or not. Lots of faces looking surprised as they have their plates swiped away from them. To make this worse, the staff aren’t even replenishing food in them, just dumping them in to the wash area and off to find more plates. This clinical OCD behaviour rather taints to lovely ambience ONLY the patrons curate, the staff bring nothing except for their constant swishing around the dining hall. What could be an experience is clearly displayed as a job (to do). Are they on commission for taking plates away? We even popped out for a few minutes to smoke and I had to stop a man attempting to remove plates. Ugh. It’s a slight obsession. Upon chatting to them, anything you say is lost or met with a rather insincere response. Shame. We love the food, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The best part of this is made up by the patrons and the cooks, the waiting staff take that all away.
