Best Tapas Restaurants in Northfield

Met a couple of friends here and we had a great time. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. I have to come back and try a Catalan martini!

Little Madrid Tapas cafe is a must go-to for the best tapas in Chicago! I grew up in the Andersonville neighborhood and have been going to Little Madrid for roughly four years now. Although I’m Cuban-American, my family is of Spanish descent so it’s nice to experience the Spanish culture through food and music. Every time I go I am pleasantly surprised at how right at home I feel. Some of my favorites are the calamari, patatas bravas, albondigas and queso de cabra. The salmorejo soup and paella are exquisite and out of this world! Chef’s kiss one hundred times over. Do not snooze on Little Madrid Tapas Cafe, you’ll only be sorry if you do!

We arrived early for a Saturday night reservation. We sat in the bar. The bartender was attentive. The drinks were great! We ordered a wide variety of tapas. Some things were very good, some were ok. Enjoyed our visit to this lively restaurant!

Alejandra my server was great !! Good suggestions loved the pulpo and olive oil cake!!
