Best Wine Bars in Far Rockaway

Overall the evening at Sparrow was enjoyable. I had a reservation and called with a last minute change to add an additional two people and the hostess was pleasant and accommodating. Although the seating was a bit snug we were all comfortable at the table. The decor is gorgeous. It’s a calming blend of whites and browns with gold accents. Gorgeous! Our server was terrific. She was able to answer our questions regarding the preparation of various entrees. She was attentive to our needs throughout our visit. The cocktails were delicious. The spicy margarita was perfection. The food was average. Nothing stood out. If anyone has food issues they do not make any changes to the preparation. There were very few gluten free options. I had the halibut with lentils and it was non descript. The desserts were fair. Overall, our visit was average.

This is my favorite restaurant in Williamsburg, the staff is so nice and welcoming, especially CJ and Antonio who was our server, he is so polite and friendly. It’s always a pleasure to come back and dine here because the food is amazing from appetizers to main dishes, whatever you choose you won’t make a mistake. Hardly recommend this restaurant!

What’s not to say? Ambiance was great. Food was spectacular. Service was outstanding. Our server Nicole was the best. She was knowledgeable about the menu, very courteous and charming. Added bonus when we were there on Wednesday was live music. Met Felicia herself and was very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Hands down the best food in RVC. Have been going since they opened and always have a great meal.

My go to local spot to chill with friends. Love the wines, food, and the staff is top notch!
