Best Wineries in Dana Point / Monarch Beach

I met a friend for happy hour. 3 pm but we were given a brunch menu? Not really what we had in mind but we both picked the steak salad. It was really tasty and well done steak. The waitress must have been busy because we didn’t see her at all until we finished. No refills of water. It was a bit pricey for 2 salads and a three glass wine tasting for one and an ice tea for the other. $90

We love the vibe at San Juan Capistrano Winery. The wine is always delicious and the servers are quite knowledgeable on the wine. The food is outstanding! The soup was homemade and fabulous. We’ve never been disappointed. Ben the bartender is spectacular! We also recommend Rochelle, who presented our wine and cheese tasting. She was well versed in the wine.

This was our second time at Wine Gallery (the first was two years ago). We came to have a special Friday dinner in celebration of a personal accomplishment, and we're so glad we came back. The food was just as incredible as we remembered - I can't believe there's a place that has mastered both making amazing oven-baked pizza and serving the best (and freshest) seafood I've ever tasted. The wine selection was impressive, but we prefer European style wines and therefore brought our own wine. The ambiance was great and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.

All the food servers at the San Clemente location are great, but this time we had Zach X2! The 2 of them worked like the perfect team and our entire family enjoyed the food as well as the experience. The best "Home Town" Winery!
