The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Simon was of great assistance selecting the perfect wine to bring home. He’s wonderful. There is a wine list on the menu or you can select from their wide variety on the shelf for a corkage fee. The food was delicious. We had the peppers and focaccia for appetizers- really great. The bolognese was good but a bit undercooked ( and I like Al dente). The pizza was superb. Go, you’ll love it!More infoFallon & Byrne Wine CellarPrice: Moderate• Italian• South City Centre•4.5

- OOisínDublin •3 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Nov 2024You don’t expect it from a wine bar, but the food was exceptionally good. We had the smoked almonds, which were delicious, the duck breast, which was delectable with a perfect sauce paired with it, and the beef tartare, which was a great portion size and hearty. The wine was the star, we had two red wines and they paired well with the food and stood the test on its own also. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive without interrupting the flow of great conversation. My one reservation is the counter seating which is a tad hard, so I’d advise getting a table, but when the food and wine and ambience are this good, it’s a trifling issue. Would highly recommendMore infoCellar22Price: Moderate• Wine Bar• South City Centre•4.5
