Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Another enjoyable lunch with great attention to detail. Super confit ducks leg in a smooth pumpkin sauce, and toothsome desserts [ultrasmooth chocolate mousse and sticky toffee pudding]. Washed down with beautifully kept Rebellion's Roasted Nuts. Well worth the journey.

Our party of five enjoyed excellent Sunday roast lunch today - beef, gammon, chicken and vegetarian options. Yummy! The portions were generous and everyone scraped their plates clean. Our compliments to the Chef and serving staff for making it such a lovely meal. We'll be coming for more such brilliatn Sunday feasts in the New Year. Thank you! On a cold winters day it’s truly wonderful to walk in to a cosy country pub for the most delicious lunchtime meal. Friendly staff, quietly busy with other guests enjoying life. The choice of food on the menu was not only extensive with something for everyone but value for money which made our experience even more enjoyable.

Went for a 7 course tasting menu on a Saturday evening with my partner. Food was stunning! Scallops were impeccably cooked, lamb divine, flavour combination across the dishes was wonderful. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
