Wish I knew it was 2 floors. I had my 80+ year old grandparents with me and we didn’t realize we have to dine upstairs. Other than that it was a great experience. Our waitress was fantastic

This restaurant was my favorite in Savannah- the food was excellent and a good value. The service was efficient and friendly and the ambiance was wonderful. I highly recommend. Plus it is located across the street from the Owen’s-Thomas House which should not be missed. Parking in the street was fairly easy also. Make a reservation and visit this historic restaurant and Inn.

About the restaurant
On the evening of September 26th, The Ordinary Pub suffered significant damage during Hurricane Helene and is currently closed until further notice.
As the damage is building-wide, we are working diligently with property owners, building management, structural engineers, and the city of Savannah to plan and to rebuild.
We will work under the strong and consistent belief that we will again serve our fans far and wide and our beautiful community of Savannah in the near future.
We continue to offer daily brunch, happy hour, and dinner services, alongside special events, at our sister location, Common Restaurant, also located in historic downtown Savannah. Common Restaurant can also be found on the OpenTable platform for reservations or by calling 912.777.3742.
We thank our past patrons for their continued support and look forward to meeting - and making - new fans soon.

We happened to be in Savannah for my wife’s 50th birthday and ended up here. We were a little early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. We started our meal with a couple shareable starters and then decided on a main entree. All of the dishes we had were wonderful. There was plenty of food and I felt like the portion size was perfect. We will definitely eat here the next time we are in town.

Food was excellence except desserts. They were OK, not at the level one would expect at a high end restaurant Ambience and service were great. Pricing was high, but typical for a steak house.

All three meals where delicious. We had the scallops over pumpkin rositto, filet, and new york strip dinners. The warm sourdough and brussel sprouts to start. The banana pudding for dessert was out of this world!
