Ciao e benvenuti a Voghera!

At Voghera we proudly showcase the culinary refinement of Northern Italian cuisine, with a focus on Milanese traditional dishes. Our small menu is inspired by the seasons and reflects the products availability of that time of the year.
Along some of our signature Milanese dishes such as Cotoletta alla Milanese – breaded bone-in 16oz veal cutlet, or Risottino alla Milanese – Carnaroli rice simmered with saffron, you can enjoy the Menu Milanese – a 4- course prix-fixe menu that revolves around Milan’s best-known recipes.

Also, Voghera is the first to introduce APERICENA in the United States. Very similar to the Spanish Tapas, this modern Milanese style of dining is derived from the combination of the words Aperitivo (happy hour) and Cena (dinner). It’s available as happy hour, as well as every night in substitution of the full dinner menu if desired.

It is a compound word consisting of "i" (to stay) and "sakaya" (sake shop), indicating that izakaya originated from sake shops that allowed customers to sit on the premises and drink.

Food reminded me very much of the previous Domo restaurant. Northern Japanese warm earthy comfort food. The curry potatoes were delicious and the pork and garlic ramen 🍜 was the best ramen I’ve ever had. We had a pot of the matcha tea which brought everything together. Great ambience and a fun place for a date. Enjoy!

Shanahan's is the modern interpretation of the classic steakhouse. Shanahan's is a steak and seafood restaurant serving U.S.D.A prime aged Midwestern beef with a signature "Bone-In" cut selection that is not available at most steakhouses. My husband and I brought our adult kids and their partners for a Christmas dinner. It was lovely, delicious and festive. Chance was our server, he was a GEM! He didn’t miss a beat…and we loved his personality and professionalism. His team backed him up flawlessly. The kitchen knocked every dish out of the park. So welcoming, celebrating a birthday and everyone was sure to say happy birthday. We enjoyed dinners and all the options. Our meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. Drinks didn't disappoint and our waiter was excellent. Overall great experience.
