We are the 7th restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Absolutely loved this restaurant. The small plates were great for sharing and the flavors of each dish we tried were superb. I wish you had one on Cape Cod, we’d be there regularly! Highly recommend you eat here if you are in the area.

One of LA’s best Italian restaurants, Locanda Veneta aims to transport you to Venice, Italy. Where the freshest and often deceptively simplest ingredients are combined and cooked into art. The cozy room, often dotted with celebs, is elegant but there’s nothing fussy about the menu. Here you’ll find favorites such as a fresh-vegetable minestrone; wild mushroom risotto; and spinach and ricotta cheese gnocchi. We had a really nice experience here. The set up is unique with the bar downstairs and our bartender Haley (sp?) was super friendly and helpful with her recs for the restaurant. The food was really delicious which we actually didn’t expect given the overall theme of the restaurant and complex. We’ll definitely come back here. Oh and the images projected on the exterior of the building are really fun, especially when you catch them on your way out!

We came here for my sister’s birthday dinner as we both have had yakiniku in Japan and she loves it. The restaurant is very private and has a nice ambiance. We both got the signature omakase, and it was a good amount of food for both of us. However, we both don’t eat a ton so if you are hungry or eat more generally it may not be enough food for you. Our server was also very attentive and made sure to explain each cut of meat to us carefully. The meat quality is great and the various seasonings they let us try were great. One drawback here is that the omakase only includes the meat (you have to pay to add anything else—salad, rice, dessert, etc) and we wished a little that we had something to eat between the meats. For this price point you would expect maybe some other things to be included in this set, as other omakase usually have. Additionally, I had asked the hostess if they did anything special for birthdays but they don’t really offer anything of that kind. I would say maybe just don’t expect a lot if you are coming for a special occasion as it will be more just like a standard meal.
