Everything was splendid. Best schnitzel we’ve had in a long time. We didn’t care for our apple strudel but that could be just personal taste. But all in all, we will be back again.

We had dinner at Freddie’s for Valentine’s Day. They had a prix fixe menu with three courses, plus a little amuse bouche and a complementary glass of champagne. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The owner/chef, Frédéric, came out and chatted with everyone. I had cream of butternut squash soup for a starter and my partner had a tomato salad. We both had roast duck and crème brûlée.

Palm Desert
About the restaurant
Experience a taste of Europe in Palm Desert at our family-owned restaurant, where we serve authentic German and Balkan/Mediterranean cuisine. Our talented chefs, Blanka and Milka, create homemade specialties like tender schnitzels, savory Cevapcici, hearty goulash, and comforting cabbage rolls, all made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Each dish is prepared with care, evoking the time-honored recipes that your grandmother might have used. For instance, our goulash simmers for hours to develop its rich flavors, while our sauerkraut is meticulously fermented over a period of 30 days to achieve perfection. Whether you dine indoors or on our lovely covered patio, you’ll enjoy a cozy atmosphere.
Recognized as one of the top 47 restaurants by USA Today, Alps Village is perfect for any occasion—special celebrations or casual meals with loved ones. Join us for a delightful experience, complete with a curated selection of wines and signature cocktails! We can’t wait to welcome you!

About the restaurant
Canopy Wine Lounge is a driving source for wine & community no matter where your palate takes you. Glowing fireplace features highlight our meticulously curated selection of desert plants. Our food bites are meant to be paired with quality-driven wines and lively conversation between friends.

Very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food. Charcuterie board fed 6 of us. As a group we got the spinach lasagna - very filling and fed 2 people, the tartine - had a great balance of flavour, fried chicken sliders - good portion packed with flavour, and the caramelized onion grilled cheese - pairing it with the butternut squash sidecar made it to be such a cozy meal on a chillier night . We were full for the rest of the evening. Steve was amazing to deal with in regards to communication on our reservation. Jen was an incredible server, highly recommend

About the restaurant
DSRT CLUB! Another creation brought to you by the owners of RD RNNR. In developing a sister restaurant to RD RNNR, we set out to create a social club atmosphere that drew inspiration from the lore of Desert nostalgia. In our journey through the development of the name and design, we came across a true desert classic in The Desert Club. This vintage establishment was built in the late 1930’s and was closed up in the late 1980’s. With the 1940’s and 1950’s marking the major success of The Desert Club, we then envisioned a restaurant that brought back the swanky essence of those years here in the Desert.

With the intent to restore some vintage ADULT dining to the “cove”, our hope is to establish a feeling of upscale classic that is reminiscent of “nostalgic” Desert vibes. We are focused on offering a great feel in ambiance, amazing food and exceptional service all wrapped in a tight bow.

We look forward to dining with you!

DSRT is a nice spot. Decor and menu is excellent. Hostess was lovely and made us feel welcome. Server was good when we saw him … he left us unattended for quite a while. Food for our party of 4 came out randomly - some things very fast and others quite long. Made it awkward for our group to chat and eat seamlessly.
