Absolutely wonderful. Samuel was a FANTASTIC server and we loved the tasting menu. We also got grilled octopus which I 10/10 recommend. Opted to get our own drinks - which were wonderful. Wish we could be here every night!!!!

Designed by the famous chef Roberto Solis and his partner chef Manuel Balan, Jayu is an exclusive Japanese food restaurant with Yucatecan touches, hence the name JA for Japan, YU for Yucatan.
The concept is a 10-seat bar in which interaction is created between the chefs and the diner.
We have 3 menus.
-Nigiris menu.
-Short omakase.
-Long omakase.
We do not share any menu as it changes constantly, as we depend on daily supplies for its preparation, which consists of fish, seafood, meat and poultry.

An amazing omakase experience. As soon as we walked in the door, it was like a portal to Japan- the decor, the seating, the service- all like a second floor sushi bar in Tokyo that takes you 30 minutes to find. It is as if the chef has spent years with a sushi master. A unique blend of Yucatecan and Japanese flavors that looked and tasted amazing!

El Lagarto de Oro is a very good spot. Chill & welcoming vibe, friendly service (Thank You Carol), good beer list, and a delicious menu. We enjoyed their Salpicon de Chicarra con Pulpo a la Longaniza.
