   Service was great. Food was not. Sea bass special was a small portion, veal was clearly pre-cooked with some cheese slapped on top. Cold in center.

   Diorio’s is truly a gem in Waterbury, everything from start to finish was fantastic. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends classic elegance with a welcoming neighborhood feel. The food is exceptional. Every dish (sword, veal, chicken parm) was prepared with the highest quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The service is top-notch—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. The staff (JT was our guy) goes above and beyond to make everything great, offering great recommendations and ensuring a fun experience. I’s easy to see why it has such a devoted following. If you’re looking for an elevated yet welcoming dining experience with outstanding food and impeccable service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

   Pre theater dining, so take that into account. Packed restaurant, slow to deliver entrees- 55 min from order. Other than timing- not servers fault- service was friendly and professional. Food was very good, nice tomatoey broth with shrimp and pasta. Filter mignon a bit small for $52, but tender and delicious.

   What a beautiful spot. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. We look forward to going back!

    Our server Tara was lovely and very nice. The problem we had was, through no fault of our server, was we never got our meals. We watched several tables sat after us get there food and go all the way through desert and coffe and we still hadn’t gotten our food. After waiting almost two hours we had to pay for our drinks and leave because we had a 7:30 show at the Palace. I was so disappointed.
