Dominic"s Trattoria in Clayton is what a Trattoria is all about; Family owned and operated since March of 1997. Presenting authentic and regional dishes in a casual but elegant atmosphere. Some featured Italian dishes include Chicken Saltimbocca, Tenderloin Monte Carlo, Grilled Lamb Chops, Veal Milanese, Linguini with Fresh Clams and many other delectable creations. Dine in a cozy, relaxing atmosphere with gracious, personal service and a beautiful view of Shaw Park.

For any special event, from a rehearsal dinner to a business meeting, the Laveronda Room can accommodate 30 guests. The room has a flat screen for presentations with Internet access for you meeting needs. The McGuire Room can seat 12-14 people for smaller gatherings. We can also accommodate larger parties using dividers. Our bar holds about 25-30 people with a connected patio accommodating another 25-30 people. All areas are full service.

Dominic's is always such a nice evening. The food is consistently great - reminds me of my Italian Mother-in-laws cooking - flavorful and delicious. Dominic and his team are gracious and warm. Highly recommend.

Meal was good. Nothing exceptional to rave about. The server was efficient and friendly but overall service was slow. I realize it was a busy night, but I think service could have been a little quicker. Price is rather steep for trout and veggies. On the plus side the vodka tonic was one of the best I have ever had.

Our group of five had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the food, ambience, and service. You can tell that this restaurant has been in business for a long time and that rhey know what they are doing. Great traditional Italian cuisine with elegance.

It was our 34th wedding anniversary dinner and we get the worst waiter on earth. He was not friendly and acted as if he didn't want to wait on us.

Always a favorite for us. Waitstaff is attentive…. Food is amazing… and valet parking is a bonus. WE LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

We like to sit in the bar and service is always great. There’s a nice selection of starters, salads, pastas, entrees and desserts. Their house salad is always good. Our dinners ranged from a lemon chicken dish to the scallop special to lamb so there definitely were some higher priced items. There were 7 people; 6 eating. Most had a salad or soup plus an entree and there were 2 desserts. With drinks and wine (we should have ordered a bottle instead of by the glass but didn’t realize three would be drinking the same wine) the bill was $500+ plus tip.
