Downtown Joe's Brewery and Restaurant has been a staple of Napa Valley since the 1990s with a historic brewery dating back to the 1800s.     We’re very disappointed in the restaurant today. We go to uptown theater quite a bit and every time we’re there we go to downtown Joe’s. Because we love the food today The clam chowder was lukewarm and almost tasteless. We had some appetizers that were also very just bland. Service was great. People are great. There were two parties in there that were incredibly loud. I could not hear the waiter and I could barely hear my wife talking. I am not sure we’ll be back next time we go to uptown.

    Pretty quiet on a Wednesday morning, sat outside by the river. I had the carnitas Benedict, bride had bfast burrito. Cynthia was very attentive, food was delicious. Breakfast burrito actually made 3 meals for us, it was HUGE! Bloody Mary’s were good, but nothing jumped out about them.

    Great place to eat. Many food choices. Generous servings. Very friendly and accommodating staff especially our server Iris. Iris is WONDERFUL!!! While my friends and I don’t often go to Napa, when we do go, we will definitely go back to Downtown Joe’s!!

    The team at Downtown Joe's was excellent! They efficiently took care of our group of 16 and kept everyone fed and happy. We all had a blast and were very impressed with the service! Highly recommend for any size group.

    Joe’s ambiance and service are exceptional. We loved sitting riverside. The staff genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. We enjoyed the imaginative dishes on the menu as well as some standards. We loved the ahi poke with avocado and extra wontons.

    Ordered the new Panko crusted Parmesan Chicken and Fish Tacos--both very good. Also had the Peach Cobbler a la Mode--good but could you more peaches vs crust. Friday nights are busy but our waiter took good care of us!
