We have been to this restaurant several times when we have visited Kaua’i . I always thought it must be just me, as I have never liked the food. It is basic at best and really not appealing. I asked my husband if he liked his food and he said you don’t come here for the food, you come here for the view. Lol I guess he’s right.

So good! We had the Ono special and the fish tacos. Both were delicious. Beachy atmosphere, and attentive service.

Our server was wonderful and the view is beautiful. The overall feel of Dukes has declined from what it used to be. Doesn’t feel as special as it once did. Hula pie is always top notch h though.

Always a favorite restaurant of mine when visiting Kauai! The prime rib is so flavorful, tender and juicy! Paired with island fish, I always know I'm going to get a great meal here! The view is also so lovely - Lihue Bay is stunning. Great meal here last night celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary (with complementary Hula Pie), it was a wonderful evening from start to finish.
