The rotating floor which adds to the ambiance was not working. This feature is one reason why people go to the Eagles Nest. It is understandable that it requires maintenance from time to time but if the feature is inoperable, compensation with a free dessert or percentage off the bill or something should be offered.

When we arrived we were told the restaurant was turning but it was not turning. Then we asked
our wait staff about it rotating and they acted like they didn’t know it was not rotating. Finally we were told there must have been a mechanical problem. The whole reason you go to this place is to enjoy different views of the city while rotating!
My NY strip was under cooked and had much to much fat and gristle. Very disappointing visit for Christmas Eve.
