We came for an anniversary dinner. The view was spectacular and the food was delicious. As for pricing, we ordered the shrimp cargnot for appetizer, filet mignon and NY strip for entrees and the hazelnut mouse for dessert. We had 2 specialty cocktails as well and just hit above $200. The view was amazing and we loved being able to overlook while we ate. The service was impeccable and all the staff were attentive and friendly. For our dessert they also added a celebratory “Happy Anniversary” topper and that was a nice special touch. Would definetly recommend for a special occasion.

Food was just ok but not bad. Worst thing of the night was service! The server herself was friendly but the pace between courses was unbearable. Waited 30 minutes just for the appetizer and another 30 minutes for the salad. Drinks even took 10 minutes. Can honestly say I didn’t see a manger at all touching tables or letting us know if kitchen was having an issue that food would be a little bit. Server assistants were great and on top of things but I do not like the server checking in and not taking the clearly dirty dishes from every course off my table. The SA is there to help not do 100% of the job. The server needs to look out for guest experience. When server didn’t check in which was extremely rare, she was nowhere to be found. Side note but please teach the food runners to drop off plates without their thumbs on my actual plate just an inch from my food. They need to have them under the plate. After 2 hours though I left thinking I really should have gone to one of the many other comparable restaurants for the Holiday.

This is was our first time at the Eagles nest. The ambience was great except for loud booming that kept occurring throughout our dinner. It sounded like it was something to do with the way the restaurant was turning. The service was very good the food not so much. I ordered a fillet it was good. The sides, which are very small had no flavor whatsoever you could get a better side at a Texas roadhouse outback, etc. I would say relatively poor value for your money, I will not go back.

Most restaurants with amazing views tend to have mediocre food. Fortunately, the food at Eagle’s Nest rivals the view as a reason to dine there.
