EDISON, craft ales + kitchen is an inventive bar and restaurant that brings together the food culture and local flavors of downtown, with expansive indoor and outdoor seating and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Named for frequent historical visits from Thomas Edison and his "Vagabonds" (Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford), EDISON serves NC craft beers, small batch bourbons, handcrafted cocktails, and regionally inspired food in a contemporary, fun, and artistic setting.

Several renowned artists who celebrate the creativity of the area and call this community home are showcased in the indoor dining room, offering our patrons a true Asheville experience. The jalapeno bacon wrapped bison meatloaf is a must try !

We always enjoy going to the Omni Grove for the holidays. Love the holiday decor and ambiance. The food and service are always top notch!!

The food was not very good. Everything was overcooked and too sweet. Lots of sauce. Great cocktail though. We did go on Thanksgiving so perhaps the regular chefs and cooks were not working. Service was great!

We love the restaurant but there was nothing stand out about the meal. I think I may have ordered the salmon and been better off. Wait staff is great.

The Edison has a wonderful setting, with beautiful views towards the Blue Ridge Mountains. We’ve had excellent food in the past, but they’ve just reopened. My husband’s beef brisket was excellent. My smash burger was OK. But we had a lovely time visiting the Grove Park Inn, enjoying the terrace for a pre-dinner drink. And we were glad to see that the historic lobby has reverted to its Arts and Crafts decor. Beautiful! We’re locals, so have visited many time over the years.
