   We had a great experience the evening of 5/25! There were four of us and three of us received our meals at the same time, but I did not and was waiting a little bit longer than I should. When our wonderful server Callen P saw that I was missing mine, He not only informed the kitchen to get on it right away but he also informed the manager who came over and apologized and gave me dessert on the house! Truly, a wonderful staff who really cares about their patrons ! This was our first time at Edison and we enjoyed the food, the ambience and the wonderful service! We live in Asheville and we come to the Omni for the bar and to sit and listen to the live music from time to time. Needless to say, we will definitely be dining at the Edison as well! Thank you for a wonderful evening on my birthday!

   Our family thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the Grove Park Inn and the view from the Edison Restaurant. Food and drinks were superb as was the service. The hostess even volunteered to take our photo. I didn’t give 5 stars to ambience because the TVs are too numerous. I am not sure that there needs to be any. I didn’t notice anyone watching them and it does draw away from the beautiful architecture and view. However, I go there whenever I visit Asheville and will again.

   We enjoyed a fabulous dining experience last night with 2 friends who have never been to the resort property. Our reservation time was accommodated and we were seated at a great table with a fantastic view of the mountains. Kat our server was overall great! She was friendly and eager to help us enjoy our dining experience. We ordered the pretzel bread and roasted Brussel sprouts for an appetizer. Both were excellent. For dinner we ordered 2 smash burgers and the burrata heirloom salad. The portions were generous on all food choices we made. Our friends loved the entire dining experience and planned to visit soon.

   We had a great dinner on the porch at Edison! The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The gorgeous view can’t be beat! Our service was excellent and the manager went above and beyond after we meandered away without our leftovers to take home. When we realized we had left them, we went back and they had already been tossed. However, the manager insisted on making us a fresh dish to take home. That is categorized as “unreasonable hospitality”. And if you haven’t read that book, read it!! Good customer service makes all the difference! Thanks Edison!

   The view from the outdoor terrace at The Edison is lovely. Sunset was hidden behind the clouds. The manager originally was going to seat us at a table toward the rear of the terrace, but we requested a table by the banister for a better view. He was able to accommodate our request. Server was prompt in taking our drink and food orders. Crafts beers were cold. Smoked chicken was a little dry and the pasta bolognese could have used more sauce. Overall, a good experience for the evening.
