   Service was attentive and kind. Atmosphere was lively and sophisticated , but not stuffy. Scallop appetizer was excellent. Gin cured salmon app was delicious but garnishing chips were soggy. Had the grilled elk main which was excellent and perfectly cooked. Vanilla creme brulee was heavily almond accented and delicious. Terrific place for a date night.

   Ventine’s menu was superb. Our meals were excellent start to finish. We will be back.

   The food was exceptional. Our server, McKenzie was extremely personable and knowledgeable. I tried the Elk steak. It was cooked to perfection. My wife enjoyed the salmon. We expected it to be busy since it was Valentines Day. I was excited and rather lucky that I was able to get reservations a week out. The only negative issue that we experienced was our table location. We were placed right by the hostess booth which was also located extremely close to the front door and to the bar patrons. The bar crowd was rather loud and the overflow of patrons waiting for tables completely engulfed our table location. We found it difficult to enjoy our romantic evening with people standing right beside our table, with their backsides almost touching our plates!! lol. This presented an awkward feeling for us. We wanted to enjoy another glass of wine, but felt somewhat pressured to exit, due to this. Not quite the romantic setting I was looking for. Next time i will ensure that we have secured a table far away from the front door. Please note that we also understand that this day is pretty hectic in the restaurant business.

   It was our first time here and the food was just okay. 4/10. I wouldn’t dine here again anytime soon as the area has far better restaurants. The service was just okay. Our waitress was on her second day on the job and didn’t know the menu well, she didn’t clear the wine glasses after we ordered from the bar. I put those to the side. After we received our drinks, he asked for a second drink and after I was finished with mine (before the main course) she never asked if I wanted a second. They were out of their caviar which is something we wanted.

   Attended with girlfriends for my birthday and we were all extremely happy with our meals. I had the grilled elk which was amazing! The staff, including our server, and the manager were very attentive to our group. Chef Eric stepped out to our table at our requested. We wanted to compliment his culinary abilities and he was wonderful to take a moment to come greet us. I would recommend Elliot's on Linden to everyone going to Pinehurst.

   Our experience at Elliotts on Linden was amazing! Our server, Stephanie, really made our anniversary special. The food was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

   It was our first time at this restaurant - we look forward to our next visit. This was an evening meal; we normally eat our big meal of the day at lunch so we will probably do that next time.
