   Our large group of 23 dined at Elway’s in Vail, and while our overall experience had some highs and lows, it was generally enjoyable. Booking was seamless, and the manager, Pierina, was excellent in accommodating our group. However, it seemed the restaurant wasn’t fully prepared for such a large party. We were initially assigned just one waiter for our long table, which made service a challenge. To his credit, he did his best, and once we voiced our concerns, Pierina promptly sent additional staff to assist, which improved the experience. The food itself was mostly excellent, but as a steakhouse, we had higher expectations. Some steaks were overcooked, and they were served on cold plates, which was disappointing. That said, dessert was a standout—the warm cookies with vanilla ice cream were a hit with everyone at our table. Overall, while the service and food had some inconsistencies, the restaurant made efforts to address issues, and we still had a good time. With better preparation for large groups, the experience could have been outstanding.

   Located in the Lodge Hotel in Vail Village. We drove from Copper for our anniversary dinner. Parking was $45 for about 2 hrs. Decor was beautiful. Hostess professional. Crowd diverse and obvious $$$. Server polite and friendly. Appetizer spot on. Wife and I both ordered filets medium. They both came out rare or medium rare. Server never checked to see how our food was. A manager walked by and asked if steak was undercooked as it was obviously rare. Acknowledged it was undercooked and boxed it up for us. No apology etc. I would think getting steaks cooked right would be very well refined at an upscale steakhouse. As I was leaving I saw one going back to the kitchen. Elway’s threw an incomplete pass that night. Would go back if I stayed in that hotel but not go out of my way to drive from somewhere else.

   Excellent experience from start to finish. Service was great and friendly. Steak was perfectly cooked and fish also great. We were seated immediately and the noise level is nice so you can have a normal conversation without yelling.

   All the servers seemed very rushed. We were having a business meeting, and were asked to hurry up our time at the table two times even though the restaurant had plenty of open tables. We weren’t’ even done with the meal, and they started cleaning up our plates. This was a Monday night, with openings all throughout the restaurant.

    Has an early dinner reservation, very quiet and very relaxing dinner, we had dinner here three years told myself we’d never be back. Very satisfied and happy that we did come back, food was great service was awesome.
