Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

    I always love Ely’s! It has a great atmosphere and the food is always exceptional. The filet is cooked perfectly, and the fries are to die for. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!

    We ordered the fried artichoke app, Redfish and filet with creole sauce. The redfish was excellent with a nice sauce and tons of crabmeat. The steak was perfectly prepared and fantastic as well. We also split a wonderful wedge salad and awesome french fries.

    As always, great food, great service, perfect dining experience. Steaks are best in the area and the wine list can cover the needs of any range. Love this place. Oh - and got a couple bottles of their TERRIFIC steak seasoning to go. If you've not discovered this, get some lots of places locally, use it on almost everything.

    I have been to restaurants all over the state and Ely's is the top dinner spot in Mississippi in my opinion. Filet Louisane and Pecan crusted redfish are our favorites.

    Great Food. Great Service. Great Atmosphere. Reminds me of NOLA restaurant. Desserts are superior. Steak is superior. Know the location and easy to park. Top 10 restaurant in Mississippi.
