Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

    Consistently the best restaurant in the Jackson area. Our party shared the crab claws, fried oysters and eggplant/crab appetizers, all of which were thoughtfully prepared. Both the fish and steak entries are excellent. Our party had the redfish, filet mignon and beef tips . All perfectly prepared. The service is impeccable.

    Excellent time enjoying salmon, crab cakes, shrimp and grits, house salads and bread pudding. Service was great and the noise level allowed for a good visit with friends.
