- RRachelAtlanta Metro •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe made reservations for early Christmas dinner. It was incredible. The service, the ambiance, but especially the food. We love Indian food, and this was some of the best we've ever had. Thank you for being open!More infoMehfilPrice: Moderate• Indian• Asheville•4.8

- LLarryAsheville / Western North Carolina •14 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMela always hits just right! We had varying degrees of spice-tolerance in our group, so our server was able to guide our guests through ordering. We had the chicken korma with tender pieces of chicken and a delicious, rich cashew/peanut sauce; a lamb special with a similar sauce as the korma, but a tad more spice, an eggplant dish, and the chicken vindaloo, which our guests asked to be extra spicy. We all loved our dishes! We loved the vegetable somosas too. Our server was professional and attentive. This restaurant has been in Asheville as long as I have, and it never disappoints!More infoMela Indian RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Indian• Asheville•5
- KMKarlaMVIPHouston •27 reviews4.0Dined on 23 Sept 2024We had the Tostones appetizer platter, which was plenty to split four ways before our dinner, and was very unique and tasty. The Cubano sandwich was fantastic. My husband enjoyed the ceviche and a friend enjoyed the Arroz con Pollo (huge portion). I had the Garden Grove cocktail, which was good, but mostly I just tasted cucumber. My friends had the Hemingway Sunset, which unfortunately neither one of them loved. We’ve been here previously when it was quite crowded and loud, but on a Monday evening, it was almost empty. Because it had just rained, we opted to sit inside and ended up at a booth. The one downside to our experiences was that the overall temperature in the restaurant was quite warm and sitting in that elevated booth directly under the bright lights made it uncomfortably hot and bright. I wish there had been away to turn the lights down or off. I actually had to get up from the table and go outside to cool off at one point.More infoHemingway's CubaPrice: Moderate• Cuban• Asheville•4.2
