Down South CaJJun Eats was founded by twin brothers Jahmaal and Jermaine Dumes in the Spring of 2017. While Studying at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX they decided to take a leap of faith. Originally from Beaumont, TX, they felt a tremendous part of their lives was missing in Austin. And that was Crawfish!!Coming from a family of cooks, they’ve always dreamed of starting a restaurant in their home state.     This place, overall, is great. I ordered the steak and eggs, it arrived lukewarm and tasted like it had no seasoning. My eggs were cooked the way I ordered them but again, they were lukewarm The waitstaff is great, no complaints and its a little pricey but that's not out of the ordinary for Austin. We will come back for sure, ill just makes sure and specific that I want my breakfast to come hot.

    Interior Mexican Food offerings that were very interesting and tasty. The portions are as robust as the creativity and flavors! My husband deemed the Mole one of the best he's had. Our waiter, Marcos, was great - very attentive and helpful with menu selections. Will definitely be back!
