Every bit of our experience was perfection. We were a party of six and enjoyed Caesar salad, arugula salad, fettuccine Alfredo, penne a la vodka, meatballs, quatro formaggi pizze, tiramisu, vanilla gelato/strawberry (can’t remember the name… and espresso martinis… all amazing. Service was great. We will be back.

Lou’s was so delicious. But OpenTable sent us a message a few hours before our reservation telling us that we can preorder the pizza by replying to their message. Do not do that! That doesn’t work and the restaurant said they don’t receive it on their end. Just call the restaurant to preorder the pizza!

Everything was great. Our waiter was friendly and responsive. We had a table by the window which was great. We had two teenagers with my girlfriend and I, and they devoured their pizzas. I was thrilled to get have my fettuccine tossed tableside in the parmesan cheese wheel. The whole Eatily experience was a perfect way to end our Chicago trip.

This was our 2nd time at Shanghai Terrace and it was as good as the first time. The service is impeccable and the food was perfect. We ordered the tasting menu and everything was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
