Best Authentic Restaurants in Kelowna

WOW.... Absolutely incredible experience. My Fiancé and I went out for Valentines day (Saturday Feb 15th). We were greeted at the entrance with a warm welcome, and was seated promptly. Our server came to our table, again with a warm welcome and took our drink orders, while we looked over the incredible menu. Drinks came and we placed our order. Appetizers arrived ( 6 PEI Oysters, and Seared Fois Gras) Melt in your mouth incredible, and the oyster were fresh and some of the best I've had. Another couple of cocktails arrived and placed and order for 2 glasses of Pinot Gris to accompany our dinner. A beautiful, Crevettes Et Noix De Saint Jacques, was to die for. The sauce needs to be bottled and sold. Is it not elegant to lick the bowl? My meal was, Grilled Certified Angus with Prawns and Scallops, done to perfection, even the Asparagus was the best I've ever had. Desert was Creme Brulé and again was absolutely incredible. This was our first time coming here and easily was an amazing experience. I think we found our new go to fine dining restaurant. Cheers, David & Jen

La Bussola is consistently excellent quality. Whether it is the food, service or ambience. The wine list is excellent with many Okanagan options. The meals are delicious, well presented and have generous portions. There are traditional Italian dishes and innovative specials by the chef. The service is always professional, friendly & relaxed. We have been there many times and have never had a bad experience.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at your restaurant for a special Valentine’s lunch, which was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, every detail exceeded my expectations and made the celebration truly memorable. I was warmly welcomed by Sareena, the manageress, whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism set the tone for a fantastic afternoon. Her leadership and genuine care for my experience were evident throughout my visit, and she deserves high praise for her outstanding management and customer service. The special Valentine’s touches were remarkable. From being greeted with a glass of Prosecco to the thoughtful complimentary dessert beautifully presented with a heart-shaped strip of sauce, every detail was perfectly executed. I was also delighted by the thoughtful gesture of taking photographs with an instant camera—an unexpected and charming keepsake that truly made my day. The food was fantastic, living up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from Joey’s. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing the romantic ambiance of the occasion. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. One staff member, in particular, was diligently cleaning tables and booths after other guests finished their meals. It was clear that great care is taken to maintain a welcoming and spotless dining environment. It’s experiences like this that keep customers coming back, and I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible Valentine’s lunch I enjoyed. We had the taste around 3 course menu. The beet and quinoa salad, dessert and pappardellelle were excellent. It complemented the beer pairings very well. Our server was warm and very knowledgable. She gave us great recommendations which made the whole experience wonderful. Capped it off with a game of bocce. What more can you want from Thursday night?

As always love this place. The food is always great and have always had exceptional service. This time was different though and cannot blame the server. She had to also make our drinks which she was very confused over and apologized for being slow and the drinks bring done incorrectly. Appeared to be new to her job so the lower rating is for the restaurants management not the server. We will always go to this restaurant just adding some feedback
