Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century.     This was my 3rd time dining at Hibiki, bringing my partner to experience for the first time. The food is always delicious, super fresh and quick to prepare. It’s a cute small restaurant so you can sit right by the kitchen and see the staff preparing your meal. I highly recommend the pumpkin katsu bowl, the sweet fried pumpkin is amazing with the sauce and wakame salad. The staff are always super friendly and attentive and give a great dining experience. Even the kitchen staff show a smiling face and thank you as you leave. The food, ambiance and staff all make a really lovely restaurant to visit, I will be back again!

    Nice venue, lovely atmosphere and good service. The food was lovely, really tasty and big portions. Great value for money. There were 7 of us and we had a range of pizza and pasta dishes and everyone was impressed. Glad we booked as people were queuing to get in!

    Early evening meal for a family birthday celebration. Restaurant was quiet as it was early, so atmosphere low key. Excellent food and service, topped of by staff putting a birthday candle on my sons Tiramisu - a nice touch. Overall very good, a really enjoyable dinner
