Sai serves authentic Punjabi cuisine with tandoor cooking a speciality. The spice range is broad, from minimal to high levels and vegetables forming the backbone of the menu. Wheat is the staple food of Punjabis; however, they do enjoy eating rice at festivals and other special occasions. When it comes to food, each region within Punjab has an entirely different preference, for example, people in Amritsar are particularly fond of stuffed parathas and milk products. The philosophy of life for many Punjabis is to eat, drink and make merry. They are lively people who are extremely fond of eating good food. In the preparation of Punjabi food, onion, ginger and garlic are used extensively to enhance the taste of the food.**NEW***SUNDAY BRUNCH 11am to 3pm, try Indian street food from different part of India with unlimited KADAK CHAI.****LUNCH****Now open for lunch Tuesday-Saturday 12-3pm. I have wanted to eat here for a while and got the chance this week. It was everything I had hoped for and more... Seasonal menu with great choice and the cookery absolutely on point. What's lovely is that there are four courses with choices on each course which works for me better than a tasting menu where the diner doesn't have choice. Everything I had tasted and looked amazing. You can tell its based on classical French roots...the core ingredient is the star and is not 'messed about with'. The associated sauces, garnish, textures all compliment it. Great wine list and a very good range of wines by the glass which works well if you have four courses with the choices supported by knowledgeable but unpretentious sommeliers. Good food is one thing but its the service and ambience that makes a restaurant you want to return to. I definitely will be returning whenever I can. Fantastic food and wine in an elegant but unstuffy environment with knowledgeable, cheerful and perfectly attentive staff. Thank you!

We finally got round to trying this restaurant having lived opposite for FOUR YEARS! The staff are so attentive and inviting, we were greeted with two glasses of Prosecco as we were celebrating an anniversary. We ate meatballs, fritto misto, carbonara and pizza - all very very good! The pizza in particular was lovely. A nice thin crisp base and delicious sauce. We also shared a tiramisu - oh my goodness! One of the best. It got a bit noisy but the restaurant was full, as always, and it didn’t take away from our experience. 10/10, will absolutely be coming back.

It was a Monday night so the restaurant was not very busy which was a plus! The food was absolutely delicious with lots of options for vegetarians which is often rare. The selection of margaritas was fantastic but their selection of white wines was disappointing. Not everyone that goes to eat Mexican food wants tequila for the whole evening. The service was very good and I will definitely be returning but hopefully a few more white wines could be added to their wine list! .

One of my favourite places to go, the food is superb, drinks are lovely, the staff are charming and the place is so cozy. Only downside is I don't have a small behind and the stools are quite little!
