They started us off with a complimentary glass of Prosecco to toast the occasion. (Very nice and appreciated). Then we were brought an amuse bouche- which I have to say I couldn't understand the servers description. But it was lovely. We had the focaccia with ricotta and honey. It was excellent. Then we followed with the risotto - which was also excellent. My husband had the sirloin which was well prepared and tender. It came with a side of whipped potatoes. I had the acorn squash which was an unexpected highlight. We looked at the dessert menu but decided we were too full- but the server brought us the pear upside down cake as a celebratory gift- and we loved it. Service was excellent. Our water was attended to. Our drinks were delivered in a timely manner. The atmosphere was quiet- which in Music City is rare and was a welcomed respite to our other dining experiences in the city. They were actually able to accommodate some last-minute changes to our reservation, even though it was a busy night. Latoya and our server were super personable and made our experience memorable. The food was unique and delicious. We actually ordered way too much and had to take several dishes home.
