- KKristinNew York City •25 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoBest service ever!! Water glasses were never empty, each course arrived well-timed with the ones around it, wait staff was super helpful and courteous. Food was outstanding in the Appetizer and Salad courses, and mostly very good in the main course. Dishes with homemade pasta (fusilli, ravioli, fettuccini) were generally very tasty, with the veal-stuffed ravioli and its sauce being the best. Simply outstanding. The risotto was disappointing. Not the chef’s best showing, for sure. It was very creamy, but the arborio rice was cooked al dente and the sauce had no flavor. Very un-risotto like. Moving onto dessert, the crème brûlée, vanilla Ricotta torte (cheesecake), flourless chocolate torte and tartufo were all fantastic. We’d definitely go back, but will not order the risotto again.More infoLa MasseriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Theater District•4.8
