Best Authentic Restaurants in NoHo

Our party of 6 (that included 2 kids) had an amazing time at Serra! The restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance is so peaceful and calm! Our waitress Katharin was phenomenal, she was so personable and gave us amazing service! I’m so happy we chose this restaurant for our dinner!

We were warmly welcomed, enjoyed aperitifs at the bar, and then went upstairs for our Pasta Tasting menu with wine pairings. It was heavenly from beginning to end! Kudos to our attentive and friendly staff, who described each course in detail, as well as describing each wine pairing. Special thanks to Henry, our primary server, who made each course extra special and described each wine pairing. The wait staff was professional. welcoming, and added extra charm to the evening. For me, it was the kick-off to my birthday season, full of delight and delectable food and wine. Babbo deserves every accolade in the book, except for too-dim lighting. Can't wait to return! Italian family style restaurant, very large dishes - we ordered 1 dish for 4. Delicious food with a cozy atmosphere. Polite service, a little bit slow, but in Italy is much more slower. Great place! Would absolutely return.

The food was incredible . Umami for sure. The staff was also amazing. The woman who seated and served us was extremely helpful and attentive to everyone in the restaurant at once. She ran that room like a pro to say the least. It was New Year's day as well the place was packed on a holiday and the staff was taking care of a full restaurant and take-out orders that seemed non stop for the 90 minutes we were there. They earned and deserved the Michelin star. And I loved the sketches of the restaurant that were hung throughout the restaurant among the many old photos . Will definitely be back soon.
