I recently had the pleasure of dining at Joy Asian Cuisine in Indio, California, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Located within the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, this restaurant offers a diverse menu that seamlessly blends traditional and modern East Asian flavors, including Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and promptly seated in the elegant dining area. The ambiance was inviting, with tasteful décor that set the stage for a delightful meal. My server, Fely, was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to ensuring a memorable dining experience. To start, I ordered the Joy Share Plate, a sampler featuring barbecued pork spare ribs, vegetable spring rolls, beef satays, and pork potstickers. Each item was expertly prepared, offering a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that showcased the culinary team’s skill. For the main course, I chose the General Tso’s Chicken and the Wok-Fried Rice with Shrimp. The General Tso’s Chicken was a standout—crispy pieces of tender chicken coated in a perfectly balanced sweet and spicy sauce. The Wok-Fried Rice was equally impressive, with plump, juicy shrimp and a medley of fresh vegetables, all infused with a delightful smoky flavor from the wok. Throughout the meal, Fely provided impeccable service, ensuring that my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her friendly demeanor added a personal touch that elevated the evening. There’s nothing like the Adobe Grill at La Quinta Resorts any time of year, but especially at Christmastime! It’s lovely to sit outside, under a heat lamp, and enjoy the delicious food and soak in the festive ambience. Most of us ordered Mole (Chicken entree & Enchilada entree) since that’s their signature recipe, and one of us ordered the Sea Bass, which was exquisite! Start with the guacamole — it’s simply a MUST! The service staff is delightful — everyone is professional, helpful & friendly.

Stop by here whenever in town. Had the goulash, sauerkraut, brats. All good!

This is our 4th time visiting and we love everything about this hidden gem. We had the Barramundi and steak. Both were excellent. We also love the short ribs. We always enjoy eating here-the service is great and the staff are cheerful!!!!
