Best Authentic Restaurants in Midtown

We would give it a five if the hostess was alert to my wife’s accessibility issues. She did not take into account she was using a walker and she was led around the restaurant in a large circle to be seated having to move patrons and chairs in order to seat her. Otherwise great service, great food and a good experience.

We had a lovely corner table. The service was just right —friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious. We had the paella valencia which was super. The paella was flavorful, moist and the seafood, chicken and spareribs cooked to melt in your mouth.

Food was outstanding and service was excellent. I traveled up from the Bay Area on Christmas Eve and arrived late at around 9:30 when the restaurant was wrapping up. My server although I can’t remember his name was so kind and sweet and attentive. I was really having a tough week. The food came out and didn’t disappoint it was hot and very delicious and savored every bite. When you are the last customer you typically don’t get that level of service or quality of food but they went above and beyond. Thanks Chicha staff! I will be back.

Casual environment with great selection of beers and a menu with many comfort food options. They offer generous flights of beers and let you choose those you wish to try. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very good. Would recommend the veggie burger and the fish and chips.
