Chef Margherita Aloi never disappoints. She is one of the few chefs in CT who provide that true Italian vibe. This is not an Italian American cuisine. Her choice of dishes and specials are like. O where Elise the servers are incredibly knowledgeable about everything she offers from cocktails. Desserts and specials. I had her ho,made pasta with filet mignon tips in a Marsala reduction with a sliver of parmigiana reggiano cheese. It was exceptional and made me feel like I was back in Italy. This is my all time favorite restaurant. From the moment you enter to being seated you are lifted to another place. I’ve been following Chef Aloi for more than 20 years. This is the real deal. Brava chef.

Our Christmas Eve dining experience was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, and the service was nothing short of outstanding. The atmosphere perfectly captured the holiday spirit, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. It was a memorable celebration shared with family, made all the more special by the warmth and attention to detail at this restaurant.

The greeting, service and food was exceptional. The actual tables could be updated; they were chipped and picnic-style. The music was nice but a little loud. It was difficult hearing my daughter. The portions were beautifully displayed but a little small. They were fine for the 3 woman. If my husband was there...he could have eaten both our dishes.. Overall, in my opinion....the food was wonderful but just a few little things would have made it an A+.

Gloomy Monday Night In New Haven with the weather but the cocktails, a strawberry caprioska, crafted by Walter, the manager/owner along with the beef heart skewers off the dinner menu made for the perfect night off and evening, a quick way to turn your day around. A great staple and go to spot if your at Yale and/or in downtown New Haven.
