Best Authentic Restaurants in Siesta Key

11 am reservations were enjoyed by the six of us. Sunday(s), street parking and the nearby garage parking are free and we took full advantage of that "bonus". By noon, this wonderful restaurant was "hopping" with customers. Our menu selections were all served hot, fresh and delicious. The Scallops Casimiro and Stuffed Mushrooms are a tasty choice for starters. The 1905 Salad is a wonderful dish and this delicious salad can be shared between two people. And finally the Cuban Sandwich -- beyond delicious! A large sandwich so bring your appetite. Our server MAX was outstanding. Very attentive, but not aggressively attentive. Max gave us just enough time in between ordering and enjoying our selections but was quietly attentive to refill water glasses and asked if anyone wanted refills of beverages. Extremely good server - if I could give MAX 10 stars, I would! Value - expect to pay about $25 - $30 per person (beverage included.) TIP: Book your reservation(s) at least 2 weeks ahead of time and enjoy the 11 am time slot for a beautiful brunch. Bring your appetites! Sidewalk tables are available for those who wish to enjoy their Columbia experience with their fur baby or for those just wanting to sit outside and soak up some great Florida sunshine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The sauces were excellent, though the pasta a little too “robust” (thick) compared to what we have been accustomed to have in Italy. Wine list very good. No deserts suitable for lactose intolerant diners, but the pistachio crème brûlée was declared the “best ever”, by the non lactose intolerant member of the party. Overall, however, a lovely dining experience…the atmosphere and service were perfect.

Absolutely delicious Tried something new and was not disappointed I got the salt crusted sea bass. It was prepared table side Amazing as was the yellow tail special, the cappuccino and the ammerato gelato Yum

We had another awesome evening at Blu Kouzina. After being ushered to an ideal table at the edge of the outdoor porch, we ordered their outstanding taramosalata, and saganaki with figs for appetizers. Both exceeded our expectations as usual! My husband can never resist ordering the lamb giouvetsi…and once again it was the best he’s ever had…and we eat a lot of Greek food. I had the chicken kabob…so juicy and flavorful, that I’ll probably order it again next time! Our server Ivana was wonderful and recommended an excellent Greek red to complement our meal. We’ll be back soon!

They were not very busy through our dining experience between 5pm and 6pm. The service was a bit slow but the food was very good. We all finished our dish and also enjoyed the wine and beer. They finished off the night by giving us a shot of a limoncello concoction which was excellent, we wanted a gallon to go. Overall, it was a very good experience.
