Best Authentic Restaurants in Western Springs

It was such a great experience!! The food was awesome, the place was beautiful, our waiter John was also top notch! John made sure we were satisfied the whole time we were there. Definitely will be going back!!

Wonderful! - The ambiance is understated elegance with attentive service and great food. We started our meal with the delicious Escargot - the best we've ever had! My husband ordered the Beef Bourguignon (Plat(s) Du Jour) it was the perfect dish for a cold night and I ordered the Pithivier (puff pastry with butternut squash etc) the last bite was just as good as the first. The food was prepared thoughtfully and it shows. We look forward to our next meal at Petite Vie.

This is a fast moving dinning establishment with delicious specials and main meals on the menu. Risotto with lobster and scallops - very good. Even the white fish was very tasty. Bread soft and warm. Tomato based soup was creamy and the Cesar salad interesting with a combo of romaine and spring mix.

We had a late Valentine’s Day celebration combined with our wedding anniversary. I selected Thassos as our place of celebration, and oh how we felt like royalty! The food- just incredible. The service- best you’ll find in Chicago. The drinks? - better than those I’ve had at restaurants in New York or Denver. Such a romantic setting for our special day and I can’t thank Thassos enough for the beautiful memories we have created there.. Do yourself a favor and make a reservtaion, because this place has always been packed when I’ve been here and it’s no surprise! I can’t stop thinking about that Shrimp appetizer with red sauce and feta!! Out of this world!!

Great food and very good service. While other reviews said that the prices were high, we found them reasonable based on the serving sizes. We had dinner for two nights. The alcohol pours could be a little more substantial but we were there for the authentic Greek experience. We will continue to make Mana our go to for Greek food.
