You can even see where they are harvested from where you sit—that’s fresh. They were the best mussels and were in a fantastic saffron broth. The best we’ve ever had. Great menu overall.More infoThe Upper DeckPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Rock•4.4
- BBCornwall •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoTried The Longstore after it was recommended by a colleague. First impression was great, a large woodburner keeping it warm, comfortable chairs and a very nice staff. Although the music was to our taste, it was a tiny bit too loud but they happily turned it down a notch on request. The food was outstanding. We had scallops to start, then Rib Eye steak. I asked to have an extra salad rather than the bits that came with the steak and I must say it was the most delicious salad I have ever had and a massive portion too! I hardly ever tip, but today they got a well deserved 10%. Definitely going back!More infoThe Longstore, CharlestownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• St Austell•4.6
- FFrancescaVIPCornwall •5 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoReally good food as always. Service was good. Menu has recently changed; the belly pork starter has gone which is disappointing. Children’s meals excellent, although would be good to not have salt added to children’s meals- meant the youngest refused to eat most of it as I’d forgotten to point out no salt. Over all really good. Not the best experience we’ve had, but that’s because the bar was set exceptionally high earlier in 2024 on a previous visit. Bring back belly pork asap please!More infoPorthgwidden Beach CaféPrice: Expensive• Fish• St Ives•4.6
- EElizabethDevon •1 review5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024We were well looked after, despite the late arrival of most of our party! We were not hurried or made to feel as though it was a problem. The meal was reasonably priced and all of our party enjoyed the food and the dining experience.More infoOcean View at The DomePrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Plymouth•4.4
