- TTanyaUtah •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI love Cafe Madrid for the food, the Spanish wines, the ambience and the service. It is like dining in someones home. The food is excellent. Between my dining companion and I we ordered surf and turf. The salmon was not overcooked and tender, with the lightest crust from the searing. The medallions were tender and a perfectly cooked medium rare. Since this was brunch we started with a dark roast coffee that was rich and full bodied with no hint of bitterness. We complemented the meal with 2 dry white Spanish wines, one very slightly fruitier than the other, which was lovely with the medallions. Once things settled a bit we finished with a rich creamy flan. This restaurant is a locally owned gem with chefs who show care and attention to the quality of the food. I am already looking forward to my next visit.More infoCafe MadridPrice: Moderate• Spanish• Holladay / Midvale / Sandy / Union•4.6
- AAmyVIPNashville •2 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Jan 2025We had a group of 10. They gladly accommodated. We had a variety of food and apps and a few special drinks. We had also contacted the baker a couple days earlier to make a special bday treat for part of our group which they willingly did and it was also delicious. Definitely reccomend.More infoHoneycomb GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Solitude•4.5
- DDavidVIPUtah •66 reviews5.0Dined on 27 Dec 2024I took my wife and daughter to eat the day after Christmas. My wife and I always go in December to see the decorations and walk around after dinner. The swan was out in the upper pond. I enjoyed the fresh oysters. I really enjoyed the bouillabaisse, my wife the salmon, and our daughter the filet mignon very rare (blue). The sides were delightful. We couldn't resist the flourless chocolate cake and the chef specially prepared coconut sorbet. They accommodated the two gluten free ladies and one milk free. The service was also wonderful, cheerful and attentive. Meg made sure we were happy and well taken care of. The manager also visited us and wished us a merry Christmas. The valet gave us extra time to walk the grounds and see the lights and decorations before delivering our car without us even asking. We love going in the Christmas season.More infoLa Caille RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Holladay / Midvale / Sandy / Union•4.3
