- TT.J.Charlotte •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe love this place. The only reason I rated the food slightly lower is that they really don't have much kid friendly on their brunch menu, and they were not willing/able to accommodate what we thought would have been some pretty easy substitutes. But it's a great atmosphere, good food, great wine selection, the best smelling candles ever, etc. Parking is painful, but don't let that stop you from trying. Highly recommend.More infoSixty Vines - Charlotte SouthendPrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Southend•4.8

The special menu had enough choices to have something for everyone, and the food was delicious and service was excellent. The prices were elevated for the Valentine’s Day , which I do understand. Gotta make that money . I get it. Some of the prices did seem excessive though. For example , one small crabcake (maybe 3 oz) was $19. The filet mignon offering looked like a pretty modest cut , maybe (5-6 oz precook). I guess I’m just saying for $100, per person , the food was very good , but I don’t know that I would say a great ‘value’. They definitely marked up for the holiday.More infoChurch and Union - CharlottePrice: Expensive• American• Uptown•4.6
- CChristopherAtlanta •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI recently dined at STIR Charlotte, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our server, Noelle, was absolutely fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and made our evening even more enjoyable. We went on Valentine’s Day! The ambiance was trendy yet casual. We kicked off our meal with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were a perfect blend of flavors and a delightful start. For my main course, I chose the Halibut Piccata, and it was simply divine! The white wine, butter, capers, and farro paired beautifully with the roasted vegetables. My hubby ordered the Filet & House Goat Cheese Ravioli, and he couldn’t stop raving about the tender filet and the delicious pecan pesto. To top it all off, we enjoyed some amazing cocktails. My husband loved the Stir Old Fashioned and Whiskey Bramble, while I savored the Slack-Jawed Jezebel and Elderflower Sour—both were outstanding! Everything was exceptional—food, service, and cocktails. I wholeheartedly give STIR Charlotte a 5 out of 5! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!More infoSTIR CharlottePrice: Moderate• American• Southend•4.6
- SScottRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA truly great French restaurant, with excellent dishes and outstanding service. Dishes tried. Every one was outstanding: oysters, escargot, sea bass, duck confit, hanger steak, creme brûlée. Steak frites with hanger steak and Bearnaise sauce was cooked to perfection medium-rare. Duck confit with melted leeks and banyuls jus was terrific, and I make duck confit regularly. The restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful in the city with high-ceilings and decor that makes you feel you are in Paris. Service was as good as the food. The bartenders, server, and service/FOH manager went out of the way to accommodate a couple of requests.More infoLa Belle HelenePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.6
