- DDawnMinneapolis - St. Paul •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ordered bruschetta as an appetizer, very tasty! We both ordered the Rib-eye, I ordered garlic mashed potatoes with it and he ordered the horseradish mashed potatoes. Our meals got switched. So I got his potatoes. I didn’t even notice, just thought they were bland. Apparently there was horseradish placed on it in the middle. I asked my boyfriend how his potato’s were and he said they were good. I asked him to try mine….he got a mouthful of horseradish, probably no potatoes, haha. That’s when we figured out the switch up on the potatoes. Not a big deal, we just laughed it off. I didn’t get to try the garlic mashed, they must have been good cause there were none left on my boyfriend’s plate lol. Anyway, the sauce that comes with it was so amazing! It was like a garlic cream sauce. I am still craving more! It was good on the steak, veggies and potatoes. The steak was very good quality and cooked to Medium Rare perfection. Definitely worth the $55 each. Our waiter, Clayton, was so professional and excellent. Overall a very pleasant experience! I’m sure we will be back in the future.More infoDowntowner Woodfire GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Saint Paul•4.7
- SstephanMinneapolis - St. Paul •19 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I did the Champagner Brunch at Baldamar on Nov. 23. It was fantastic; everything we hoped it would be. The wait staff was very well informed about the food and drink offerings, and provided us with valuable insight. The food was very good, though somewhat hit and miss. The Scallop and pasta dish was fantastic; we ordered it twice. The crab cake was more cake than crab. The calamari was very good, as was the lamb curry. The cocktails, and limitless champagne and wine, were great. They did not go cheap on their alcohol offerings. Bottom line, it was a memorable experience for our anniversary celebration, and well worth the expense.More infoBaldamarPrice: Expensive• Steak• Roseville•4.9
- EElainevipSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy friend and I were able to enjoy a delicious lunch in a beautiful, quiet setting perfect for catching up. Our server was wonderful! We were welcomed, encouraged to take our time and received the very best service. The lobster rolls were yummy and the tea beautiful in its unique container and warming on a cold day. For anyone weary of extremely noisy restaurant, Nicollet Island Inn will become your favorite with its charm and beauty.More infoNicollet Island InnPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / North Loop•4.9

The food is delicious, the service warm and friendly, the photo booth a plus that says ‘you’re part of this place’ and the atmosphere easy and relaxing.
