Theo & Sebastian who are brothers, started Smiths in the middle of a pandemic! We are seriously passionate about patties and are based in Bourton-On-The-water, also known as ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. Our restaurant sits circa 30 guests making it a small, exclusive place to come and eat. Since opening, we have made it our mission to get our hands on the best possible ingredients. We also use dry aged beef with a great fat content supplied by Aubrey Allen, which marries up with our strong, unique flavour combinations giving you the ultimate bite! We cant forget about or delightful buns, which are handmade daily by a wonderful local baker. All the flour used for our buns is made up of Cotswold flour sourced from local farmers. Linked together, these spaces offer the best of both worlds. The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers an informal dining experience, this is where the bar is located so expect a livelier vibe, cocktail shakers, the gurgling espresso machine and locals coming and going. My daughter and I visited The Nook for Christmas lunch. This being our first experience of Christmas lunch in a restaurant we weren't sure what to expect but were extremely pleased with the quality of ingredients and the dishes. We would definitely repeat the experience.

Welcoming atmosphere and friendly, prompt service all throughout, even though we were late. All the food was delicious and the photos of the two kids eating their ice-creams tells all you need to know about their verdict.

My son and I had an overnight pre-Christmas break at Queens Hotel Cheltenham and had the £40 pp for 3 courses dinner option. Excellent choice of menu and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and presented. I especially liked the chocolate flowerpot dessert !! Breakfast, again, excellent choice of options and I tried the Hungarian Largos donut pancake with mushrooms, garlic and egg. Very nice.
