We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. Food fantastic as always King prawn pil pil starter was great value with 5 king prawns Chose the venison pie.wow. Served on hot plates My only negative was we asked for empty glasses to be removed which we did ourselves Did not detract from food Will be back
