Best Brunch Restaurants in Scripps Ranch

I’ve been eyeing this restaurant for a while and wanted to come since people dining there looked like they were enjoying the atmosphere and food. I was not disappointed We were celebrating two birthdays. The food was very good - spiced well, great value, large servings and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent - rarely had to request refills - he was there and taking care of it before we asked. The patio provided our own private party - gas heaters for those who requested them and everyone just got to relax, be served and enjoyed each others’ company. We definitely will be back - thank you for a fun and great afternoon.

Beautifully remodeled Brigantine. We had the pleasure of sitting in the middle dining room for lunch on New Year’s Day. Eric was our server and he was fantastic. Attentive without being overbearing. The food was good; we had the crab cake as an appetizer, 2 bowls of chowder and the shrimp and Louie salad as well as the swordfish tacos. All was good with the salad being a substantial portion. Overall, the Poway Brig is well-appointed with good service and decent food. Server Eric is the bomb! We plan on coming back for brunch on Sunday. Would be nice if they offered cappuccinos and lattes vs regular coffee.

Public House 131 never disappoints! The service is consistently outstanding—staff are attentive, friendly, and always make you feel welcome. The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that you can taste in every bite. I also love how the menu changes occasionally, keeping things fresh and exciting while still offering reliable favorites. The ambiance is fantastic—sometimes it’s a quiet, relaxing spot, and other times it has an energetic buzz. No matter the vibe, it’s always a positive and enjoyable experience. The restaurant is also impeccably clean, which is another big plus. I highly recommend Public House 131 for any occasion—it’s truly a gem!

They played a soccer game final, they had enough tvs and you could hear the game but it was not too loud. Great food!
