Best Brunch Restaurants in Stoughton

Kayla was our server and she was wonderfully personable and efficient. The Tavern was busy with many holiday get togethers but the wait staff was attentive and made for a great dining experience.

Six of us ate at Elsie’s after our annual visit to the Bradley Estate’s Winterlights, and it was awesome. We were tucked into a corner of their cozy dining area, which was perfect as two of our party have hearing issues that make noisy restaurants problematic. Elsie’s was truly not noisy, and everything else was awesome. From the cocktails to the wine list to the food. Oh my gosh, the food is SO good. I shared the arugula-pear salad with a friend, and they split it onto two beautifully arranged plates. My husband got a half-Caesar, which was plenty big. And it’s a lightly grilled Caesar salad- so delicious (I tasted it). I got the scallops for dinner - delicious and just the right size portion. Everyone loved their food, from chicken Marsala to salmon, to ravioli - all fabulous. We will make Elsie’s Table part of our annual tradition, and any time we are down in that area, it will be our first choice.

Very well decorated for the holidays. Excellent atmosphere. The food is good. The service is also good, though I wouldn't say stellar. We have had several good meals here and will continue to visit. Nice dining option.

My partners and I go here every weds night for dinner. As always, this week was spectacular with a twist. The block lost power due to the storm that day just as desert was coming out. The management and staff handled themselves and the situation professionally as we sat by candlelight eating our desert. I know it was stressful for the staff, but it was actually a very nice atmosphere at the table. Kudos to all!

Excellent waiter ; he served us with awareness of our relaxed pace and he interacted with us in a genuine manner. He made the lunch enjoyable. Foo- prix Fixe of 3 parts- salad, entree, dessert for lunch fir $24 was reasonable cost and thoroughly delicious. A lovely lunch in a beautiful setting!!
